Use byte(8bit) sized arrays...

In Visual Basic, use the variable type called byte(8bit integer), and in C and C++, you can use the char(8bit integer) variable. That is the normal way of reading binary files.

Ok, now I understand. And then I tested to play with CSoundManager::CreateFromMemory( &m_pBounceSound, pTest, dwFileLength, NULL) and it works perfect. Thank you!
