Is WOL down again?

Tried to get online with no luck.

It seemed to hang in the "Connecting to Westwood Online screen".

Ctrl,Alt Del was the only way to get out.

Is anyone else having the same problem?

i have same problem

"connection to Westwood Online failed. check your ISP connection.

  but i have propertly connected to ISP and im able to play other online games............ wol died

yes dune is down again :(

this is getting really frustrating, the service is really appalling

anyway, to check if people are in dune or not, go to http://dune.kicks-ass.net and look for the stats page. this shows how many users and what users have been logged in during the day.

So if there's any time when there are 0 users online then it's very likely to be down.

Another thing: if you're having trouble connecting to games, this is usually due to having a firewall up or having a router. You have to configure the settings on your router or turn off your firewall. For your router, you need to forward port 1234 UDP, if you don't know what the hell this means you need to talk to rotorz (he knows all about dune)

i have DSL/cable FAST , 704kbps dont have router, i dont have probs ith connection but dune is down, i get message from WOL about check your ISP etc. but is not cause of my connection, i have all good,, i dont have anyone firewall coz i reinstalled some days ago a windows 98 , but i not using firewalls cos im not internet maniac

if you have DSL and a cable connection without a router and troubles connecting online .. . . you are either mistaken about which connection you have  .. or you have an impossible internet connection. ..

lol my ISP is UPC.com.pl and i dont have any probs with connetion i know wol is dead and is that problem but when wol be online, for 4days or maybe never? i thing , is ending april and wol has been locked , cause is, no mans play on wol, and wol dont get people

I am afraid the lol part is on my side. . . UPC is a cable service provider. Your internet connection will be a cable connection. . .not a DSL line.
