:'( One day i was happily typing away and decided i need to alter my screen resolution, to my disbelief the screen flickered to black and then back for about 15seconds (default time-out) and has continued to do so from that day forth.

I've tried reinstalling graphics card drivers, monitor drivers and have even reinstalled windowsxp but to no avail. Im stumped, can anyone help me out?

i managed to resolve it! it wasnt giving me any error message :( but i played around with screen refresh rates and it's working again - suddenly stopped working at 75hz for some unknown reason
