Thanks for all the lovely replies! I managed to sort yet another problem out with no help...the resource cfg file had been altered to read the wrong cd drive...thanks for the suggestions i couldnt have done it without you! >:(

I start up dune 2000 and attempt to load my saved game and get the error "cannot play spawned game...restart with cd" CD IS ALLREADY IN!! it works sometimes and others not ! 9/10 it doesnt! A dodgy cd drive? probably >:(

i managed to resolve it! it wasnt giving me any error message :( but i played around with screen refresh rates and it's working again - suddenly stopped working at 75hz for some unknown reason

A re-install of both XP and the game itself along with a few drivers and hey presto! it works! :-*

:'( One day i was happily typing away and decided i need to alter my screen resolution, to my disbelief the screen flickered to black and then back for about 15seconds (default time-out) and has continued to do so from that day forth. I've tried reinstalling graphics card drivers, monitor drivers and have even reinstalled windowsxp but to no avail. Im stumped, can anyone help me out?

I've been trying to download these drivers but all the links from omega's corner are really slow for me (maybe i tried at peak time) Does anyone know any alternatives?

Hey guys, i couldnt find any other topic about this so i apologise if it's been said before! I recently borrowed the game of a mate of mine, i installed and when i attempt to play it asks me to fill out some registration forms, i did so but was unable to send them off ( i hear their servers are down) after that nothing happens - the game doesnt attempt to load or anything so im wondering is it a must to be registered for the game to even load? I also read that the game doesnt like the nvidia geforce 2 mmx 64mb graphics which sadly the one i have - could this be the reason? Any insights are appreciated...BustaGonad out.
