An Iraqi weblog, made by Iraqis freely now that Saddam Hussein is no longer in power. This would not have been possible under Saddam's regime, I think. Enjoy, everyone.

Furthermore, we cannot say that Iraq was "not our business" and still claim to have the moral high ground. Because, to do nothing in Iraq would be to allow human rights abuses to continue unchecked. Therefore, we cannot say we are humanitarian and not remove Saddam from power. At the same time, war might be considered an immoral action. In which case, we cannot look to morality to judge our decisions, but practicality. What is worth more to? Looking good in the eyes of allies? Or freeing a nation's people? Which world would you prefer, postwar or prewar? Well, if you are an Iraqi, you would prefer the postwar. And they are the only ones who should be able to justify the war.

Saddam hadnt anything to do with 9/11, saddam would never attack US, he wasnt that stupid, he knew he would get crushed by them. Bush claimed that saddam had chemiacl weapons(wich he hadnt) and attacked him, i think Bush knew Saddam didnt have chemical weapons, but the you might be wondering why he attacked iraqi, well the answer is simple: oil=money, Bush is using iraqi's oil now and gaining a lots of money. Bush killed all those innocent people for money, atleast Osama did it for his country, for his people(doesnt justifies what he did, but if look it in this way osama might be better then bush).

and Iraq may not have had anything to do with 9/11 .. but you know what?...  they were classfied as a "rogue" state and that means they would not care about selling the weapons to terrorists like Osama.... and if Saddam ever got a nuke.. he would sell it to Osama or someone like him...

You people just dont get it... Saddam was not a threat to us DIRECTLY... he was a threat to us INDIRECTLY... meaning he would never nuke us HIMSELF.... but he wouldnt have any problem selling a nuke to Osama who would then use it on us...

The fact that all the WMD's are all missing from Iraq lets us know that Saddam probably did sell them.. which confirms our worst fears... he sold the weapons.... to terrorists most likely...

Atleast all he sold was biological weapons....the reason we had to take him out was because.... we could NOT allow Saddam to get a nuke program like N. Korea...  because Saddam would end up funding every jihad group out there....

Bush Senior had already taken those weapons, Bush jr CLAIMED that they still had weapons and he attacked, he did it for the money.

About the superior thing, US acts superior, the whole world was against this war, they did not have permission to start the war, BUT US acted like god and didnt care what the world sayd, they started the war only for the oil=money.

you over-generalize too much warskum ... ...  for instance the "whole" world wasnt against the war... USA had 30-40  diff countries sign a coalition .... Britain, Australia, Spain, Pakistan, etc, etc and many more...

So if anything you could say there was MORE countries for the war than against it.

And you sadi Bush Senior confiscated all the weapons?  That is totally false .. you know why? ... because we did NOT even go into Baghdad..... which is the capital of Iraq .. where much of it would be stored and hidden...

Bush senior basically smacked Saddam back across the Kuwait border and chased him back to Baghdad... but we never went anywhere near to occupying Baghdad like we have now....

So what i am trying to say is that we did NOT occupy Iraq ...and do massive searches like we are doing now....  so how could you made such a wild claim that Bush Senior  took all the weapons back?

Since we did not go deep into Iraq in the first war we did not get everything we needed to get.... thus Bush Jr  was  totally justified in going back to Iraq to finish what his father was unable to do ....

Any ties between Iraq and Al-Qaeda have yet to be proven. Iraq had no weapons of mass destruction since 1991 - which was proven by the inspectors. He wasn't a damn threat...if he was, don't you think he'd do something to the people who invade his country? Don't you think he would have retaliated with his "weapons of mass destruction" when US tried to dethrone him?

i somehow think I remember you being from Canada.  Well I live in Canada now, and I am utterly shocked at what a hell hole this place is.  Canadians are so focused hating Bush, they are letting their own nation fall apart at the seams.  Corruption reaching the highest levels of government (Crechien a fraudulent thief, now Martin showing his scamming ways), health care is a joke, canadian doctors are moving to the states en-masse due to the socialist noose around their necks leaving behind a health care system on the verge of collapse, (in B.C.) ICBC is most fraudulent insurance corporation I have ever seen...on par with the fraud of Nigerian Warlord Clans that steal international AID, taxes that soar through the roof....  Its a social disaster up here, so whatever arguments you have about employment in the states are hillarious.
