Dune II Sound

Hey, I've got a soundcard installed into the motherboard, and I can't get my Dune II running with sound. The soundcard should be SoundBlaster-compatible, but when I Select SB or SB pro in Dune II setup, there's no music and the sound doesn't play well, and after several minutes the game locks up. Is there any cure for that?

P.S. Can anyone advise any .VOC to .Wav converter for the sound files?

Try using VDMSound

It makes almost all dos games work with sound. (that I've tried)

Once installed you rigth click on the file (dune2.exe or whatever) adn tell it to open with VDMSound. Should work.
