help get westwood to work on EMPEROR again

people are talking about emperor, and some say it's dead, well , officially, they might be right because westwood has no patching plan for the game, no tech support, no tournaments, and well, nothing left to tell us (they update the official site once in 3 weeks!!!!!)

Because nobody is playing Emperor any more! If there would be more players, Westwood would continue work on it.

And if WW can't make money from continuing to support and improve Emperor, they won't do so. Yes, it's mean. We will now have to rely on Fed2k and such to provide unofficial support.

Yeah! Fed2k is the only site that is any good for emperor! all the others have stopped updating and is suck. How the heck did dune fanatic get site of week when they hadn't updated for weeks! if they do start updating then fine until then what the hell!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well, MY site hasn't stopped updating news about Emp! You should take a look at it, it's just like Emperor: great site, not well known. ;D

It's true that I haven't updated Emp news in a long time, but that's because there isn't any. Except the fan-made maps, which are are all given to FED2k for uploading, so the only thing I could do is post each time FED2k gets new maps... :(

Westwood's site of the week is a joke.  They take all the main fansites, and name them each in a certain order.  FED2K was first, Dune Extreme was second, etc.

WW's general attitude towards Emp is a joke.

WW should replace their Emperor pages (+tech support) with a list of links to Fed2k, westwoodrts, and any other fan sites. You'll get more sensible information out of them than from WW.

Oh yes, and ca anyone give me a direct link to WW's Emp discussion? I can't get to it because my browser messes up on some of the pages you have to go through.
