AeonGrey Posted February 24, 2004 Share Posted February 24, 2004 hey, i was just wanting to see what things people have seen in other movies/books etc that reminded them of something from dune. it could be anything really.i'll get the ball rolling. i watched the movie "the dark crystal" the other day for the first time since I was a little kid and there was something that reminded me of dune: there is a scene where the 2 main characters meet for the first time. when they touch, they get flashes from eachother's past. all kinds of stuff flashes by from each person's life...emotions, incidents, people..places...etc. and when its over, one says to the other "we memory shared" or something. reminded me very much of how the bene gesserit will share memories with eachother.
