i mean, lets say u and me are in game and we want to play agasint computers. Currently we can only add 2 computers, since on olafs server we can play 8 of us in one game then why cant u and me fill the rest 6 slots with computers instead of just two.

Simple, the game is supposed to support only 4 players on internet play, so you can only add as many AI players as there are slots open of the original 4. So if you choose a 2 player game, you can add 2 AI's (as it is meant to be a max of 4 players)

However, you can play with 8 players because the amount of players that can enter a game is not capped right, so more than 4 people can join a game without giving any problems.... well except for performance problems perhaps.

No, unfortunately the slider reads directly from the player number (kind of, AIPlayers=Humanplayers-1)

Here's the slider mesh in question:

Slider GameSetupAIPlayersSlider

{

Mesh AIPlayers01

Caret Cursor02

MinVal 0

MaxVal 7

Horizontal

Function message object WolSetupMgr

}

As you can see it's set to 7 which means it has to link directly to the player number, which in turn will be hardcoded.
