How to speed up EmpBfd starting up

After reading PS501's post I thought it might be a good idea to post this. ?

To speed up Emperor when it firsts starts up, delete the Legals.bik file.

To do this Open the C drive folder, open Emperor,Data,Movies then look for the Legals.bik file and right click it and delete it.

Then the game will start up without the EA PR stuff at the beginning.

Well to be 100% accurate, I renamed it to legals.bak (just in case something went wrong) So to error on the side of caution, I can always rename it back...

So you won't get a missing-file error message when you delete the file? I always thought that and renamed the legals.bik and created a new one which was empty.
