CNC Generals ZH problem (my own)

At start i didnt want to mention it, but now it really got me pissed off!!!!

once my ping to the generals servers was 90 or less.. to others 50 or less... and a few weeks ago something happend, my ping is now 184 to the generals servers and 150 or higher to others... now i didnt want to tell anyone untill people didnt want to play me anymore since my ping is "too high"... and im pretty damn sure the generals is fucking bluffing since in other games my ping is 80-90 and my friend, who has exactly the same modem, live in israel 2.. plays generals and his ping is 90!!!! what did i do wrong???? help me, thx.

It is probably your ISP that has introduced some kind of filtering to prevent viruses etc.

Having this ping isn't a problem at all, anything under 200 will work fine.

I have ADSL and my ping is 179MS Milli seconds. I have never had any problems playing Emperor with that Ping.

If you worried about it contact your Internet service provider and ask them to do a loopback test.

I'm sure that when Gryphon sees this he will tell you how to check your ping online too.

You could aslo try this online test :

I SOLVED THE PROBLEM!!!

damn it was right under my nose.. anyway the thing is that generals wasnt bluffing.. my modem works 24/7 and all he needed was a lil rest, i turned it off at night time (computer as well) and WALLA! now my ping is back to 90 and my computer works super fast!!! and they only needed a lil rest :D im glad its over...
