Does anyone use a Logitech HID compliant Marble mouse to play EMPEROR ?

I seem to have found a really weird problem, when I play EMP and scroll down the screen during a game and at the same time press the down key it speeds up the scrolling of the map considerably, has anyone else had similar experiences, and if so how'd you fix it ?

Why would that be a problem ? If you scroll, do not hold the down key at the same time ;)

If I don't it takes all day to scroll down !

I'm confused... what is the exact problem then ? And if it speeds up scrolling, why do you want to fix it ?

It's not that I want to fix it, I just wanted to know if this is normal or not.Does this happen with a normal mouse too.

I am still trying to track down my problem of freeze ups on my Pc and wondered whether or not the Trackball might be causing it or not !

I visited the Logitech web site and discovered interesting info about mice and games, apparently they can indeed cause problems running a game.

Oh okay. Did you try to uninstall the mouse drivers ?

Yup, I did that and reinstalled the very latest drivers too.MW 9.78 .enu.

I just wanted to know if your mouse and down keys does the same thing, i.e. increases the scroll speed ?

That's something someone needs to asnwer who plays the game. I haven't installed EBFD on my new pc yet...

if u wanna scroll at normal speed in games, do as i do: put mouse in center of the screen and hold right button of the mouse, then u just move your mouse to where u wanna go..

I thought that the purpose of the Forum is to help new players and to increase the membership.

So if I ask questions it's to learn all I can about the game and related computer issues.

It's not as if I can walk into the local grocery store and ask the owner about playing Emperor or other games.

I think he would probably give me a look as if I'd just arrived from Mars. don't you think ?
