i bet u could store fish in there for a week ;)

anyways, (also) why do i need a high wattage PSu?

Simply to provide enough power to your computer components.

Today's computers need more power than yesterday's so to say.

Depending on what you are placing in it. An AMD usually requires a higer power supply then an Intell one. P4's should have 400W or more. And when you use a lot of hardware in it, the power can go up also. .. Personally I have dual CPU computers who obviously also need a bigger power supply, that as an example.

so.. what would happen if i, say, had a dual P4 3.2ghz with two modules of 512 500mhz ram and.... a hrd drive running at 8000rpm and.... a GFFX 5900 and a P4C800 *heavy breathing*

and a 200 watt PSu?

would it just not work?

If you would have that combination it's worth the cost of a plane ticked to where ever you life just to see the look on your fase if you are going to switch it on. ;)

Think with some luck it will bootup, but when evrythings starts workin it is almost certain to crash I presume.

I don't think it would even start...

I had a 300watt PSU before I upgraded to 550watt. My graphics card crashed from time to time :P

Thanks Cyborg .. I wasn't shure if it would boot and then crash or just wouldn't boot at all. :)

And no, it woun't do any hardware damage.

stick your head a bit deeper in, and you will see it.

The power supply is the box located on the top right corner in your case.(unless you have some other stupid non-atx case)

If you're unlucky, the info tag is placed on the side which faces the right case wall. In that case, you have to pull it out of the case, look at it, and then reinstall it.

If you mean how much It cost, I had to fork out with
