Dune 1 problem

I've bought a new computer that (unfortunately) has the sound onboard.

Therefore the sound in Dune 1 does not work. To mention I have Win2k.

How can I make it work?

1) Did you install all drivers that came with the motherboard (motherboard chipset drivers) ?

2) You can disable the onboard sound and add a sound card..

I give you about 80 percent that it won't work ;)

it's a pain setting it up in dune I.

this is a topic from the Dune I boards regarding audio problems.

First make shure you have the latest drivers for your soundcard and MOBO chips. Could you tell the brand of the onboard soundcard if any . . if not just the compatebilety should do. If you don't know you can look it up in the manual or it will show up in a directX diag report.

The mother board is a Gigabyte. Brand new.

To add another sound board? Well, I already have one and I intend to use it. OH! Anyway...
