I've never been a fan of Win2K. I had Windows ME and never experienced any problems.. eh, apart from my own screw ups that is :)

So I would say to you, stick to Win ME until you have the spice for Win XP.

Personally I'm more then happy with Win2K. And after a few years of Win95 / Win98 as secundairy and Linux as primairy. Now I switched to Win2K all the way. Well, almost all the way. . . .

Think it depends on where you are planning to use it for. Win2K is not ment to be used as a consumer computer, nor to run games on.

Best Windows I ever used was Windows ME, and I've used them all. The only thing XP does is give you a lot of 'flash' a few more options and a hella a lot more crashing and aggervation.
