  1. Well, I thought of this as a way to replace pilots that were mentioned before, because IMHO they would be too 'low'. Of course, every vehicle should have it's own crew when leaving the factory. However, I don't like the idea that pilots and vehicles are seperated at all. IMO the crew should be killed at the same time, the vehicle gets destroyed.
  2. I like this 'region experience' idea more than the 'troop morale' idea. Troops gain 'region experience' because they get to know the territory when fighting. Generally it's a way to simulate that your troops have more chances to backstep your enemies, for example, but the gameplay is kept simple. But if there was something like troop morale, the player would must have possibilities to rise the morale by getting better support, for example and therefore the gameplay would become more complicated, but a game should be as simple as possible. And about this "the crew of a vehicle has a chance to survive when the vehicle is destroyed"-thing: I think it's not really necessary, but it's the simplest way to enable basic infantry to enter vehicles and these vehicles gain the soldier's experience, for example. If a vehicle gets destroyed, there is a certain chance that a basic infantry with the same experience spawns just next to the destroyed vehicle.
  3. Uhhh... a god, who has an I.Q. of something about 90? That's scary. ;) I think Christianity won't be very important in futur. Probably the islam will be the dominating religion.
  4. WW2 was NOT necessary. It was necessary that the allies defended themselves, but it wasn't necessary that Hitler attacked so many countries and killed lots of people. In a way it was our duty to help the people to free themselves... but we ought to help the people to be really free... not to suffer from a new dictator. Women lose their rights already and they won't be free anymore in just 2 or 3 years, because we aren't able to help a country by killing a dictator... there will be another one.
  5. This case is more like the one in Afghanistan... or at least more than Saddam is a new Hitler. ;) And now tell me, which war was necessary!
  6. They won't be free, if you just fight another war. Best case: There will be a new dictator, who won't be better than Saddam (maybe a little bit)... maybe he'll like USA a little bit more... that's all. Were there any wars, which were necessary?
  7. I'm a peace-freak, but I'd prefer if you called me a pacifist. I am not sacrificing anything. But I think you don't know, what war means to the men and women living in the Iraq. War is even worse than a dictatorship and there must be another way then going to war against Iraq. Are there really wars, which are necessary? I can't remember of only ONE.
  8. You're right... Saddam isn't a democratic leader. But imho Bush isn't as well, because he had less votes than Al Gore. (~500'000 votes) But what I wanted to say, isn't that Saddam should have nuclear weapons... I think all the other countries should not have any... but countries like the USA will never dispose of their nuclear weapons.
  9. Why the Iraq isn't allowed to have nuclear weapons? The USA are. Russia is. China is. Lot's of countries are allowed to and as long as they don't want to disarm themselves, they don't have the right to tell other countries not to build nuclear weapons.
  10. In war3 you don't feel like every unit is your friend... or at least I don't. I would prefer games like Soldiers of Anarchy, if I wanted to feel this feelings. But War3 is still a very good game... although I only play custom games. ;)
  11. It's no fun, wasting your own units, but you feel more like fighting a battle.
  12. I vote for Emperor. ;) ??? First of all, you think, that Emperor is bad, although you never played it? ??? Secondly, I like Emperor more, cause you can really waste your units... there is no food-limit or anything like that. Playing W3 you can lose 30 units, but playing Emperor you can even lose 30 units till you're near the enemy's base (although you probably would lose. :P )
  13. I don't think, it's a good idea to have lots of houses in a game... Richese, for example, has been unimportant, since they lost control of DUNE. So there is no need of Richese... Apart from that, most games are primary playing on Arrakis... there are very important factions (e.g.: smugglers), which are more useful to tell a story. Would be nice, to fight for the smugglers... especially Tuek's people ;)
