Blizzard's slow and agonizing death continues.

On an interesting sidenote, I was looking in thw paper today: EA's stock is worth more than Microsoft, Activision, and Vivendi's combined.

old key employees leave, new ones are born, no realy problem here actually. This happens to all the companies. I don't think that blizzard will suffer serious problems with the leaving of these few programmers

Vivendi has been trying to sell Blizzard for the last year or so.

These guys jumped off a sinking ship while the "jumping was good". Whenever two prominent staff leave, more will follow. Now all Blizzard employees know it is a seeking ship, and many will leave. Just like what happened with PC Gamer a few years ago. One prominent staff left, until month after month, every single qualified staff member followed his example until they had nothing left but amateurs who cranked out a POS product.

My guess is that these guys knew Blizzard would be bought by EA and they would no longer be allowed to support their games as they are committed to doing, so they left rather than take it up the rear.

oh wow, it's not 2. 4 employees all left at once. LOL

the Reuters article via that link states that Vivendi has a hard time selling Blizzard because most Publishers only want Blizzard alone and not the other crappy development branches of Vivendi, but Vivendi is trying to lump them all together in a "package deal". i find that to be utterly hilarious.
