Dont be afraid of cheats

Listen up... to any of you new players out there who may have read some posts about cheats and are worried... well dont be. There are no cheats (such as programs) that function on the servers without them causing the game to abort. There are however some exploits which appear to be cheats... do not be afraid of these because some are difficult to perform and ALL of them are quite OBVIOUS when being performed. Chances are if someone does one of these exploits on you.. you will know exactly what they are doing and you can just quit the game and not play them anymore. Thats what keeeps most people from abusing these exploits is the fear of being ostracized from the already tiny community. So dont give it a second thought. Play without worries.

It's only a game! If someone uses or intends to use a "cheat" on You, then simply write down his/her name and quit the game. Simple as that.

No need to get ripping Your hair out because of this.

Looking at the situation on cheaters and Emperor now, I don't see it as that much of a deal. I mean, the ladders are dead.

I do remember my first bc game though. It was my first and last. I won, however the other guy just had to use an Advanced Carryall with a Minotaurus to pop into my base invisible. ::) Really spoilt the experience for me. If someone cheats in one of my games now, I simply take a note of their nick and permanently blacklist them.

even if someone cheats i just kill him first then blacklist him cause mostly only n00bs need a cheat but i have encountered a couple cheaters though i think they have learned there lesson

In my opinion, it is acceptable to use cheats only in a single player game, to advance to another campaign, for example...

In multiplayer games, you should not use them because, even if you win the game, you did not really win it... You didn't use strategy, yu just cheated... It is a game, and in this type of game, there is a winner and a loser: it is not the end of the world if you lose, you will just be better in the future...

I wouldn't use cheats at all. You shouldn't need to use cheats to advance in the single player game anyway. :P
