Actually, the verses I told you about (2:4-7) are all what I am talking about (the chronology is broken into a few verses) and 1:11-12.

I don't see how retelling the same story with more detail is a conterdiction. In 2:5 it says "before it grew" Newspapers do this all the time.

And on the news today 5 firemen died today.

One of them tryed to put out the fire but got consumed.........etc etc

But wait a minute. din't you say they died?

THats not a conterdiction. its retelling a story more in-depth.

I never said it was a contradiction, you did, but it is two different stories going on. Going in-depth does not switch the order around. Your examples are false, for one that is not a chronology, just a summary of the story. The bible however, goes in order the first time, and does not go in order the second time. You cannot justify this because of what a newspaper does in a non-chronological story.

Ok, i'm hearing the reffrances but i need you to clearfy just a little. In Genesis 2:5 it uses paste tense "before".

I'm probbly missing something, but i don't see how what it says there couldn't fit with the other.

Tell me exactly what it says in in both chapters and let me look over it. it'l save us both a lot of time.
