I had to tape the last segment of the miniseries. All was well, until what seemed to be the last 5 minutes. The tape wasn't long enough, and it went out just as Lato (sp) was bringing up a gift (couldn't tell what it was) to some Fremen tribe. Can anyone please describe what happens after this point in the show? Thank you VERY much!

I missed most of the 3rd nite too so I cannot be of help in telling you what happened but I can tell you that Sci-Fi is showing an encore of all three parts this Sunday.

Duncan kills Javid, forcing Stilgar to kill him and join the rebels. Leto finds his father and makes him join his cause. Farad'n receives training from Jessica, and arrives on Arrakis to marry Ghanima. On Arrakis, Farad'n reveals his mothers part in the plot on the twins life, and his mother is taken away to the dungeon. The Preacher returns to Arrakeen and is murdered during one of his sermons. ghani and Farad'ns wedding begins, Leto arrives during it, kills all the gaurds, and then fights Alia. After beating her, he gives her the chance to kill herself. She accepts, and her and Jessica re-enact the scene fromt he first miniseries which introduced her character, with her last words being "I want my brother".

Then that's pretty much it. Stilgar and the rest of the Fremen end the rebellion, Leto takes over, and Ghani gives a short speech.
