The Sci-Fi Wire had a quick interview with CoD director Greg Yaitanes recently. Here's an excerpt:

Yaitanes shot John Harrison's 300-page script—adapted from Herbert's Dune Messiah and Children of Dune novels—over a period of nearly three months in Prague. "Somewhere out there, there's this picture of me, on the last day of shooting," he said. "We'd just done 80 days of shooting, and I'm there all energized, and my cast was wiped out. I was ready for more. I could have done another 100 days."
