I asked the questions, and Florent Claudy answered:1) Has the Alpha testing finished yet? If so, what stage of developement is the game currently in?As stated on the Website, we're still alpha testing Dune. Given the nature of the game, it's a crucial part of the development. We cannot, like most of the others online games, release a small part of the game and let people play it. The game is very complex (it's really persistent) and we don't really have big intermediate milestones: the whole universe is working... or not! There are hundreds of things to finish/tweak before reaching something worth playing.2) Can you reveal any new units/structures?The site will be updated soon with descriptions and screenshots of most of the units, including the pirates and the Imperium.3) Have you altered or removed any of the already revealed units/structures?In terms of gameplay, I don't think so. Graphically, some have been slightly improved, including the units already disclosed. Don't expect major changes however, given the limited number of polygons and textures available per units!4) The last news article posted on the official Dune Generations site said that you are still looking for more Beta testers. Are you still looking for more beta testers? If so, are there any particular system requirments that you would like to have testing the game?We already have more than 25000 registered testers, that's enough for the first closed parts of the testing. Stress tests will require more people than that, so any new registration is welcome! However, we haven't choosen our testers for the first beta yet, so registering now still give you a chance to join us soon.5) It stated in the last news article that you would be sending invitations to people to join the beta in March. Have you invited people to play the beta? When do you believe that it will begin?It wasn't for the beta, but for the second part of the Alpha Test. We have enough "internal" testers for this phase (about 250), but we'll ask more people to join us for our upcoming milestone, the first closed beta.
