I can't play online!

:( I had to make my account online instead of through the game because it never works. I'm always told "timed out" or this page cannot be displayed. A problem might be that in multiplayer info it says server and it's blank. If it needs to be filled in I don't know how to do it. I've asked westwood and all they do is send auto-responses and can't fix it.

Next to the box of the servers, there should be a down arrow. I've you click on that, are you able to select a server ?

There is an arrow, but the list is blank. There's nothing to select. I don't know how to put stuff in it either. I don't know if I got everything installed, I'm checking it though.

Like Ken said, check if the Westwood online components are installed. If so, try to attach the EASy output to your reply. It's it's on the install cd and is called "ez.exe".

Do you have the Westwood online components installed ?

Also, I see you have several ways to connect to the internet (NIC and modem). Try removing the one which you do not use to connect to the internet and see what happens..

If you click the start button and then programs, do you see any Westwood folder which contains Online components ?

In the westwood folder it says shared internet components and inside that it has Internet registration and uninstall registration, nothing else though.

Have you tried to play other games online ? If so, did they work ? I've noticed you have several devices to connect to the internet, can you explain me which you use to connect to the internet ?

Also, do you use any firewall program ? And once you've created an account via the internet, are you able to play EBFD online ?

I've tried to play Red alert 2 online, I got pretty much the same problem. I use the modem to connect (AOL). I don't have a firewall thing.  I guess making the acount through the internet will work, but because I can't create it through the game I don't know if anything is different.

I dont understand your question. I made the account online, I connect to the internet, open the game, put in my name and password, I click the button, and it wont work.

Try to re-install the game and make sure you check that "online components" get installed..
