Beauspop
This may be a trivial problem, but a frustrating one: I recently upgraded to XP, installed XP drivers for a Logitech cordless trackball, and re-installed E:BFD. Now the scroll wheel doesn't control the zoom in/out function. Does anyone have a solution?
Nyarlathotep
Have you assigned it (if it's possible) ?
Beauspop
Well, it scrolls in all the other applications, and I couldn't find anywhere in the EBFD setup to assign it. The trackball functions normally in the game otherwise (screen scrolling, selecting/deselecting, etc.)
Nyarlathotep
hen you go to control panel => system => device manager, is the trackball the only mouse installed ?
Beauspop
Yes, the only device listed under device manager for mouse is "Logitech-compatible Mouse PS/2".
Nyarlathotep
What is the setting in the logitect control menu for the wheel mouse ?What happens if you un-install the drivers ? I have a Logitec optical wireless mouse and haven't istalled any drivers. For me the zoom function works without a hitch.
Beauspop
I may try un-installing the Logitech drivers and see what happens. I was wondering - does Emperor have a tab for "mouse" under the Options menu? I don't have one now, since the re-install, but I don't remember if there was one before, when I'd installed it under WinME.
Nyarlathotep
Let us know if it helped. And I can't remember a tab for the mouse.
