Extracting Music

Hi,

Is there a way to extract the music tracks from Dune 2000 ? I want to make some soundtrack cd's. Also, where can I get DuneEx for Emperor? The file servers seem to be down still.

I don't think the music is read from the CDs. It's installed on the hard drive when you install the game. It should be this directory by default: C:WestwoodDune2000DataMusic

All the files are in there. There are some programs down in the Dune 2000 audio downloads section that will allow you to convert those music files into different formats so you can play them back.

This is true; You need aud2wav, to convert the .aud files to wave files that can be saved to CD.
