I've gone through and updated our links page removing a lot of old sites that no longer work. If you know of any good Dune sites out there that aren't listed let me know.

And since he was the one who got me to update the links page it is worth mentioning that Mark Bennett's excellent site, Dune: Behind the Scenes, has moved to a new address. It covers pretty much anything Dune related especially Lynch's movie.

Speaking of other Dune sites, does anyone know what happened to the fremen.org site? It looks like a domain squatter owns it now and is asking $10,000.

Gob,

While I can't say I know anything about how or why fremen.org disappeared, I can say that it has been gone for some time. For a few months before the money-grubbers took the domain name I had been unable to access it.

The site didn't seem to be updated very much, as I recall, but I will miss the wealth of information that was available there and hope it crops back up somewhere along the line.
