Co-op query

OK, I host a co-op, complete a few missions, then me and my partner call it quits. At a later time when I go back online and go to host and co-op, I have the option to "Continue Campaign," which I click on. But then... anyone who joins my hosted co-op is somehow auto-kicked out or something. I *assume* by this that only the same person you teamed up with originally can continue the campaign, but is there any way around this? Seems a bit trite.

There seems to be a way around this. Whenever you play a co-op campaign with someone, every time you finish a mission or a level, and then click 'continue' in the statistics screen, a file called: CoopCampaignAutoSave.igc is saved into your EmperorDataSaves directory. Your partner gets the exact same file. For the campaign to be continued, both people must have the exact same file in their Saves directory, or you'll get a 'Rematch refused' error, and the player that tried to join the co-op will get the automatic boot. If you want to continue a co-op with someone who you didn't start the campaign with, you'll probably have to e-mail them the CoopCampaignAutoSave.igc file, and then they'll have to put it in their saves directory.

Note: Make sure you send the file as a .zip file. Also make sure that the file that you have, and the file that the other person has is not 'locked' and that it is 'archived'. Check the properties of the file to see what these settings are. ;)
