I didn't realize this before but Boldguy or MADGUY as he likes to be called pointed this out to me, I think it makes sense:

If no one noticed, In C&C2, there is a "disrupter tank" that fires sound waves. Sonic tank. There is also a Carryall unit in Tiberian Sun. If you didn't notice, now ya do.

Makes sense, I guess Westwood finally realized that Dune 2000 units are much better than anything found in the C&C series :)
