Found out about a new review by PC Powerplay, an Australian mag, and asked Munch to check it out, he kindly sent over the following he found in their article:

Here is the summary of the Pc-Powerplay's review of Dune 2000:

Score: 87%

Pros: Relive the wonder years. Top rate RTS in its own right. Restores our faith in Westwood. The worm, baby, the worm.

Cons: Quaint idiosyncracies wear thin eventually. 640 x 480 graphics look a bit crusty.

Their score is a bit below their "GOLD" label for games (90-94%), which includes Starcraft, and further below their "PLATINUM" label (95-100%), which includes Total Annihilation.

You can read some more highlights of the review in this post or this one. A few highlights I found was that concrete slabs no longer need to be laid adjacently and can now be separated by a regulation sized square of dirt. I suspected this would be true but was never verified. The reviewer mentions that the multiplayer options will not leave you dissapointed, a definite plus.
