DuneEdit '98 has been released in, it is currently in Beta. This program will only allow you to edit the Infantry and Vehicles at this time. If you have ever used RedEdit the interface will be familiar. Be sure to back up your files when it asks in case something happens and remember the program is still in beta so there still may be a few problems. You can download the file from the DuneEdit site, below is what you can expect in future releases of the editor:

DuneEdit 98 does to Dune2000 what RedEdit 98 did to Red Alert. It allows you to change many aspects of the game play. In this beta, you are limited to changing Infantry and Vehicle units. Planned for future releases are the following features....

  • Load And Save Settings To File
  • Changes Browser, this will let you see what has been changed in the file.
  • Current Selection Window (This will let you see what unit / structure you are editing)
  • Ability to edit lots more settings...
