Well there is no better way to bring in the new year then to answer some questions! :)

I still get asked a lot of questions about cheats, demos, etc. so hopefully this will clear the confusion:

  • Question: Are there any cheat codes for the game?
    • Answer: No, Westwood does not usually program cheats into their games

[*]Question: Why don't the trainers work?

    • Answer: If you have patched your game the old trainers will no longer work and there are no new trainers that work with the latest versions of the game
  • Question: Will Dune 2000 run under Win NT
    • Answer: Yes, NT is not supported but it should work fine although you may have some problems with multiplayer

    [*]Question: Is there a demo?

    • Answer: No, Westwood is not known for releasing demos until long after the game is released, take Red Alert for an example
  • Question: Who can I go to for help?
    • Answer: First off be sure to look through the readme file as it contains answers for most of the common problems. If you can't find anything there make sure you have the latest version of the game, 1.06. If that still doesn't work Westwood holds a live tech support channel on Westwood Chat Tuesdays @ 11:00 PST and Thursdays @ 18:00 PST, they should be able to solve all of your problems
