This is the latest update from Stefan. It seems the AI portion is going well after a few problems. The computers AI plays an important role in how the game plays so this is one of the most important parts. Read below for more:

Well worked VERY hard last days, and had a lot of problems.. Anyway, this is now possible.

I told you the AI could build Units, there was a bug with that, so i have rewritten this section. It is even better now!

An example. The "old" version could build a Unit, well that is nice but now the unit is standing in front of the factory. So no other units can pass through. Very annoying. So i made it so that the AI will move the unit out of the way immediately when the unit is built.

Also a REPEAT code is added so the computer will continue building the units through the game.

NEW:

Strategy code, Computer can now choose a amount of units (amount is in the AI file), and will choose a certain type (also specified in the AI file) and will move to a spot. Automatically when the computer sees an Enemy Unit. It will stop moving and attack the unit. The Attack stuff for the computer has to be rewritten soon, because it is TOO slow. But it works! I only have to find a faster manner to let the computer see enemy units.

2 things have to be made. Moving units from a certain cell, to create defends for the computer by patrolling the units. A general attack (like in RA), choose some units and attack the player. Will be used very often in EASY mode.

Also new, a Dune 2 Graphics Pack is ready! Looks very strange in the Arrakis interface. You have to see it by yourself!
