Well I think I may have found out why the Dune RPG is taking so long, Last Unicorn Games is being purchased by Wizards of the Coast. This sounds similar to what happened with Westwood when EA bought them. There is a press release you can check out for more information, I am still waiting for a email reply which hopefully provides some more information.
