There has been some news in regards to the Dune miniseries being filmed by the SciFi channel over the last few weeks.

There are four new images in the gallery from "special effects" and they look very well done. There is also a new Bio of Matthew Keeslar and another Q&A with the director.

MahdiDLA also mentioned a post over at Space, Canada's equivalent of SciFi, that said they would be showing the miniseries later this year in a monthly FAQ seen below:

Will SPACE be airing the mini-series DUNE starring William Hurt and Giancarlo Giannini?

SPACE: The Imagination Station will be airing Frank Herbert's epic novel, DUNE, in form of a T.V mini-series closer to the new year. At this time we do not have a specific date or time to give you. Keep watching SPACE and logging in to our website for further details as they become available.

Good news for all of us Canadians, eh! :)
