Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson have finished the third novel in the prequel to Dune series, House Corrino and have sent it to the publishers, but this isn't the big news. The day House Harkonnen went on sale Brian Herbert and Kevin J. Anderson accepted an offer from Tor Books to make ANOTHER prequel trilogy, this one focusing on the BUTLERIAN JIHAD, the battle between man and machine which changes the entire empire and brings about the creation of the great schools of the Bene Gesserit, Mentats, and swordmasters. These books will be released annually and have been tentatively titled "The Butlerian Jihad", "The Machine Crusade", and "The Battle of Corrin" (which, if you remember, is where the fued between the Atreides and Harkonnens begin). They will be recieving over $1 million for this latest trilogy. They have also decided to take Frank Herberts outline of Dune 7 and will release it as the grand finale of their novels.

Dune: House Atreides recently won the Geffen Award for "Best SF Novel of the Year", which is an Israeli award.

And for the last bit of news, Autographed copies of House Harkonnen are available for purchass throught Mysterious Galaxy (www.mysteriousgalaxy.com)
