A Different Opinion of Sci-Fi's Dune

I was looking at the scifi.com message boards and the latest review of the Dune miniseries was posted just before I left. This one is... different than the last one we saw, assuming it is true and this person actually saw the miniseries and didn't make all this up, which is possible. Here is an excert of the review:

I've just watched all 288 minutes of it on a screener video. At first, I wondered if it was the right mini-series. Then I began to wonder if Paul was going to whine about wanting to go pick up some power converters. It was immediately evident that NO ONE associated with this project read the book or even saw the movie. It felt like the screenplay was based on a story told to someone by the friend of a friend of a friend of a friend's sister who read the book once when she was 14, but only when she had to use the bathroom.

Because this contains spoilers (If this review is true, then no matter how many times you've read the book there are surprises) I'm not going to post the rest of the review, you have to look it up your self here. Do you trust this review? I don't know about you but after this review and the quote abut Harrison dumbing down Dune I'm beginning to wonder if we are going to be disappointed.
