More on the Miniseries

In the ongoing reviews of the miniseries we have found a few more articles for you to look over. Another one of the bigger articles has been done by CNN in which they interview John Harrison. This is a very good interview and leaves a good impression of the miniseries, thanks to David Spiro through the Dune newsgroup for the link.

Another slightly more negative review has been written by the Houston Chronicle with the headline, "Unwieldy Dune comes off a bit dry." They end up giving it a B- grade saying, "It is far better than the movie at transporting Herbert's basic adventure of good guys vs. bad to the small screen, and writer/director John Harrison has done his best to be faithful to the book. But fans of that novel may find it disappointing, because the book's overtones of political and religious mysticism get lost in the translation." Well it is good to know they consider it better then the movie in some aspects, I guess the lucky American viewers will know for sure by late this weekend. Thanks to James Gunter for that link.

As Mahdi mentioned if you do get a chance to watch it send him your reviews and we will post a synopsis on the site for those of us who will have to wait. Or if you are already itching to talk about it do so in the forum.
