Dune3k.com has posted an interview with Delphi of Westwood that contains some new information, one is posted below:

Dune3K.COM - Will Dune Emperor be released in DVD format.

Delphi - There are no plans at this time for a DVD version of the game. Sure, there are the benefits of storage, but not everyone has one. Looking into the future DVD will ultimately be the dominating format, but at present, CD-ROM's are the most logical choice for any game developer.

Steve also posted a small note about possible ways to fit all four CD's into a DVD style box that is worth reading as well.

RAX also posted an interview today, mainly about Red Alert 2, but there is a bit on Emperor:

Vuki: Do you plan on releasing some new information (screenshots, music...) soon?

Chris: Yes, the March issue of Computer Gaming World will contain some new info and shots from the game. It should go on sale early February.

We will be keeping an eye out for that. Last up is our newest affiliate, WestwoodFan, who have recently relaunched and opened a section covering Emperor, check them out for good coverage of a variety of Westwood titles.
