EmpNet has found a new interview with Chris Longpre over at Action Trip. Below are some of the more interesting questions:

AT: Would you care to give us some info about the current developing stage of the game?

CL: All of the features have been added to the game and we are currently in the final stages of quality assurance. Right now we're focusing on fixing the bugs and polishing the game before it hits stores this summer.

AT: We've seen in the movie that nothing can stand up to the power of the Arrakis Sandworms. Is the worm going to be undefeatable?

CL: There are actually two kinds of sandworms that live in the Dunes of Arrakis, the small worms that the native Fremen can control, along with giant, destructive worms that can devour an entire army. Those sandworms are indestructible, the only defense against them is to stay out of their way and not attract their attention.

Well if they are in the final stages a June release should give them more then enough time to balance/tweak the game. And according to Meatball, "Emperor is looking very good for June." As for the second question above, wasn't there three different worm types? I guess that must have been changed... for the rest check the interview.
