Computer Games Online has posted a new preview of Emperor. While containing no new info, the preview does have some new gameplay screenshots.

"With forces chosen, you then fight your way across the universe in a non-linear, randomized, campaign that could take more than 100 missions to complete. While you're busy conquering one area, other areas might get attacked, giving you the feel of being in a larger conflict at all times."
