Dune Generations, the new Dune game from Cryo, has posted an english version of there site, acessible from the above link. It holds info on four military units, 2 of which are for the Trader form of House, and the other two are for unspecified types of houses. Here is an excerpt from there FAQ:

Will there be a ranking system ?

Yes, of course. The most powerful families will be ranked and known by all the players. Each month, that is to say 50 years in the game, the most powerful player will receive control over Arrakis. Will he manage to retain his power over this planet? Will he manage to endure the pressure from other players and the Emperor?

How will the players communicate ?

A "chat" system allows any player to communicate in real time with any other player. The system of conquest and co-operation is fundamental in this game. We have designed the main part of the gameplay around the relationships between the players.

And the system requirements ?

For the moment, we recommend:

- Pentium II 300 MHZ

- 64 MB RAM

- Windows 95 , 98, 2000

- 16 MB 3D graphics accelerator card

- Internet connection required

- 300 MB free disk space

What will such a game cost ?

We haven't yet fixed a final price but we are anticipating a subscription system.

For those of you who don't have a new enough computer to play E:BFD, this may be the game for you, although it still does require that high 16 MB graphics card.
