Just some recaps of news for you in this post. We start out with the interesting art section sent in by Ethan entitled Creatures of Dune. There are a number of interesting images including the Slig, Suk Doctor, Guild Steersmen, and more. I managed to convince him to try drawing everyone's favourite Dune animal the Chairdog as well, so check his page regularly for updates.

Dune Source has started up a contest where you submit your Dune artwork and could possibly win some prizes. Check it out if you are interested.

Also Chris Longpre stopped by the forums earlier and left a message dealing with firewalls that is worth reading if you use them:

As the RA2 fans will tell you, the new & improved firewall support is just days away from going live with their latest patch. I've seen the firewall support in action and it is really hot!

For Emperor, we wanted to wait for RA2 to go live with the firewall support first. Therefore, Emperor will not have the 'full firewall' support until a later patch. Some firewalls will still work with Emperor, but quite a few will hide their ports from the other players in your game. You can either disable your firewall, or try to force it to open up for Emperor's port range.

For most folks at home, taking down your firewall is a simple process, for those times you want to go online. There is also 3 whole campaigns (150+ missions) to play solo, and some very challenging AI for skirmish. In any case, once RA2 goes live with the new firewall code, we'll make it the top priority for Emperor. - LINK

Just noticed as I was about to post that Fargo from GameSpy has finished his article on visiting Westwood. There is another picture of me, along with Rush from Warcraftiii.net, and I think that is Cliff(Devinoch) off in the background. There are also a few ingame screenshots from what look to be the first few Atreides missions. Check it out and expect a few more reviews from the other sites soon.
