Shaddam Corrino has sent in an image that should be familiar to anyone who has played Dune 2000. It will bring back those memories of killing the Emperor, get you in the mood to take over Dune all over again. :)

DEX let us know that IGN has posted their review of Emperor giving it 8.0/10. They also gave it 9.0 under "lasting appeal" saying, "the three campaigns are open-ended enough to allow you to try different things each time around. Great multiplayer options add lots of longevity." And for those of you looking for more screenshots they have those as well.

On the editing front two new developments. First up Manic Devlin has provided an update for the 3 pre-order units, doesn't say what exactly, but you can get it at Emp:C&C. Read some of the earlier posts if you haven't heard about this yet. Also Malcolm Lim has found out some info on the spice.ini file. According to what he has told me the higher the value you set the more dense the spice will become. Although if you set it too high the game really starts to slow down, so keep that in mind. As always back up anything you edit.

It seems AMD chips aren't getting along that well with Emperor. This isn't proven yet of course but it seems to be happening to a few people over at the offical forum, myself included. Basically what happens is that the game will crash to the desktop or even reboot the computer every so often while playing the game, making it pretty much unplayable. I will let you know if I find out anything more on this.
