For those of you who missed out on the chat session I now have an edited chat log that should be easier to read. Check out some of the highlights from the chat below:

-Westwood is working on some new maps that should be out in a week or two, they will include some larger maps of the three homeworlds as well.

-The next patch will contain the firewall fix but they are testing it at the moment and it is still a few weeks away.

-Westwood could be making some changes to the Air Drone and Devastator, it wasn't their intention to have the Air Drone outrun missiles.

-They will be addressing the quickmatch "kick" cheat in the next patch.

-Co-Op over the LAN will have to wait a while as it is not an easy thing to implement.

-Units will respond if shot at even if the attacking unit is not within range.

-Additions that will be included in the next patch include: invite button to the custom lobby & chat areas, hide the sidebar with a toggle key, use the /page /r /on commands in chat, select multiple teams, use a keypress to load a 'ready building' into the cursor for placement, choose a 'random' house or subhouse for yourself or AI players, rally points for refinaries so harvesters will go there first for spice then search for other fields once empty, and a rally point for the Construction Yard so you can choose where re-inforcements go.

-They are looking into making a map editor, although no promises yet. :)

-So far they have been impressed by some of the mods made for the game, they also mention that the .xbf format is a "doozy". :)

-The laggy LAN game problem should also be fixed in the next patch.
