I was pretty busy today, had work in the morning and a huge thunder storm in the evening, luckily no flooding for me which is surprising since in some spots the water backed up on the roads was over a foot deep. It seems to have passed so I finally have a chance to turn on the computer. The email server went wacky the last few days and I am just now getting the emails so I am still catching up on all of that. Take a look at the latest "bunch o' stuff" to get caught up...

Koen, who probably released the best editor for Dune 2000, has started working on adding support for Emperor to his TibEd program. He released an alpha version before leaving on holidays, it works fairly well but still has a few qinks to work out. Be sure to read the info he posted before downloading, you can find all the news on his website.

Brendan Campbell let me know that the Dune miniseries should be available to rent in the UK. He saw it in a free magazine called Screens, I assume it should also be availble to buy pretty soon then, although I'm not too sure how the video market works in the UK. :)

DEX and Emperor Online are back up after their server move. GameLists also seems to have made a comeback after their long down time, I only noticed a few sites listed right now though. Also worth mentioning is that Proclone and a few others have re-opened Rising Sun Network, it used to be one of the better C&C sites a year or so ago, good luck to them bringing it back to it's former glory.

Land of Dune has posted up some strategies to their mainpage along with a short interview they held with Cliff that is worth checking out.

Scorpio9a sent me a beta version of DuneEx2 that I have been messing around with. The new version has a lot of new features and it makes editing a lot easier. Check his website for all the details and if you are nice he might even let you in on the beta testing. :)

That's about it for now. I will be sending off those questions to Westwood, the ones I mentioned after the chat session, on Monday so be sure to have them ready by then. Keep an eye out for the newsletter later today.
