Big news for fans of Dune Ex 2. Scorpio9a has given me permission to post Beta 1/Build 77 of the program. This version adds a bunch of new features and is still pretty stable even though it is beta. Check out some of the changes below for the rest check the readme file:

* Added: "DuneEx 2" text to the right click dropdown menu, looks nicer now :]

* Added: Remove Directory

* Fixed bug: when you wanted to find a file (up direction) and it was completed then it didn't display the text: "File search completed."

* Fixed bug: All the sub windows wasn't really connected to the main window

* Fixed bug: When you opend a rfh/bag file (in explorer) then it did not open the rfh/bag file only DuneEx 2 (when you do minimize now, all the sub windows will minimize to, and the sub windows is always on top of the main window)

* Fixed bug: "No Plug-Ins found" text was still visible in the plug-in menu, when 1 or more plug-ins was in that menu.

* Improved: Plug-In support

* Bug fixed with displaying the filename

* Saving the rfh/rfd works now 100% correct

So what are you waiting for head over to the Emperor files section and download the beta version of DuneEx2.

Also, Riper sent along the image files used for his Dune Visual Mod Creator program. You will need to download these files in order to run future versions of his program. He did it this way to save download times of patches/updates. Extract the image files into the same directory you installed the program into. Once again get the files from the Emperor files section, look for an updated version of the program soon.
