It seems a number of people have been having problems with the patch. I was talking with Cliff earlier and he said that their servers where very busy with all of the people downloading the patch which is probably causing the problems. I didn't have any problems patching but those I talked to said that if you are using the in-game patcher and hit cancel at the part where it stalls, usually 100%, and then try logging in again the patch will install itself. As for the 1.08 patch showing up on [ftp=ftp://ftp.westwood.com/pub/emperor/update]Westwood's FTP server[/ftp] that might be a while longer...
