It looks like the disconnect bug that was thought to be fixed in the latest patch may still be there. There are multiple reports of Oannes cheating in tournament games. It hasn't been proven that he cheats but if you look at some of his game results it doesn't paint a good picture.

The reason this has gotten so much attention is that some of the better players have got disconnected by Oannes and he is at this point number 1 on the ladder. Devinoch is looking into the problem along with a number of people involved with Emperor, if you have any idea on how the exploit works or want to comment on the problem try the official boards.

Update: According to this thread Oannes is now banned and Westwood is looking into the problem.
