The [ftp=ftp://ftp.westwood.com/pub/emperor/EMPEROR_MAP3.zip]two new maps[/ftp] have found their way to the FTP servers at Westwood. Oddly this is listed as map pack 3 even though there hasn't been any new maps other then those released in the patches. Take a look at screenshots of the maps and a description below. Thanks to Stealth for the map viewer.

[/td][/tr][tr][td]+ "Carthag", 8-player, Geidi Prime. A series of bridges cross the polluted oceans of the Baron's Homeworld, providing numerous strategic positions, and plenty of build-able area.

+ "Claw Rock", 3-player, Arrakis. 3 base positions connected to a common central rock area. The spice areas are off to the left & right of each base point, and have infantry rock, trenches, etc. to divide spices fields in half. Massive towering rocks shaped like claws frame the center.[/td][/tr][/table]
