A New, Darker Dune

The Official Dune Website has underwent a major graphical metamorphosis turning the old, unimpressive, boring, bright site into a new, noticably darker, and (dare I say it?) downright cooler site. The Broadband version of the site, recommended for cable or DSL users (I got into it using a 21k connection, it was just laggy), has a new flash intro that deals with House Corrino and, after that, the site is just plain amazing, filled with conceptual art based on the books scrolling through the middle of your screen. There is also an Enhanced Site available for download (3.1MB). Since it would take several hours for me to download it, I didn't, so you'll have to download it yourself to see what it is. Unfortunatly there has been no content updates, but since House Corrino will be released in North America next week, I wouldn't be surprised if it is updated soon with reviews of the book.

On an unrelated note, this news post is approximatly my 125th at FED2K, I'm kinda surprised I've lastest this long, I figured I would have been LYNCHed by now (bad pun, I know). Anyway, thanks for all your support, and here's to a thousand and twenty-five posts. :)
